The Lake District Peninsulas
The Lake District Peninsulas is a picturesque region of southern Cumbria, a region rich in walks on the coast and surrounded by the sea and hills. Although some minute walk from the main tourist attractions in the central region district of this unique region, in addition to numerous treasures of its own, it also offers easy access to nature and most remote places over West Lake District, an area of exceptional beauty, famous for its spectacular scenery. The District of West Lake

Near the Duddon Valley is an idyllic spot for a picnic in the lazy river banks of the Duddon crystalline or visit the charming Georgian market town Broughton-in-Furness where the oldest building is estimated to be the church of Santa Maria, which was built in Saxon times.
Travel east of Barrow discover the historic town of Ulverston with its cobbled streets, as the start of the Cumbria Way and 70 miles from the birthplace Stan Laurel. Be sure to visit the Laurel and Hardy Museum One World, which has an incredible amount of items, including letters, photographs, personal items and furniture. Of Engineering Cartmel why not across the country and the historic visit of Holker Hall, an outstanding and one of the best-loved Great Britain homes, and take a journey through the magical gardens, where winners are interesting things to see at once, including a beautiful waterfall plan water falling on the tracks of layers in a century marble statue of Neptune 17 to rhododendrons and oaks.
If we continue on the road to the coast of Holker Hall, you can enjoy magnificent views of Morecambe Bay as you make your way to Grange-over-Sands, a jewel Hidden truly known as South Lakeland "Lakeland Blue" because of its exceptional climate. The city has a walk of a mile long, a large mall, landscaped with a large collection of ducks and geese. There are many cafes and tea rooms where you can enjoy a good meal or good just relax with tea or a plate of caramel pudding.
Grange is just 7 miles from Lake Windermere and also easy access West Lake District, and therefore an ideal place to explore the many attractions of the Lake District. There are several hotels, like the ultimate in comfort and luxury Netherwood Hotel, and the Holiday Cottage for larger groups can be found in historic manor house Hardcragg in the lobby, where Beatrix Potter was once a regular visitor.
