It sounds funny for me to remember many forums and the experts tell me not to use more antivirus software to prevent accidents and malfunctions my PC. Can anyone tell me how ThreatFire really works?
Unlike to the traditional antivirus that scans all files and compares to a database of known "bad" ThreatFire looks suspicious behavior on your computer. For example, entries are written in the hosts file or the key must be saved. Think of it this way ... I guess someone or something was lurking in the bushes near his home in 3:00 ... Traditional antivirus software does not alert you to the person who has really come into his house. ThreatFire is alerted on the suspicious behavior, and to decide whether he was a thief or the dog without harming neighbors to piss in your garden.
