what’s the best usb tv tuner I high quality tv recorder hardware / software?

I bought a pinnacle usb hd pro stick . and came with tv media center software. but I’m not satidfied with it. the quality fo viewing tv on my laptop looked like I was watching bad reception tv. wasn’t high quality. I have regular basic cable. like mtv. s vh1. discovery. bet. and I use just the cable that coming from my wall into my tv tuner usb. my laptop is prett now. a intel centrino dual 2.0 with 2 gb of ram and 128 mv of ati video geraphics. and wxga screen. if you can tell me what’s the best tv tuner and software to record and watch live tv. I want to view tv like on channcels like mtv like high quality on my laptop better then bad recption lookalike video. please tell me the best usb tv tuner and software
