Best Digital Converter Box

What is the best digital converter box with analog pass thru (Radio Shack said ZenithDTT900 does not have APT)

From reviewing this site sounds like Zenith and Insignia are the best — it has been taking me so much time to find out details (I use a rabbit ears antenna.) The Radio Shack salesperson told me the Zenith was discontinued (because it does not have analog pass thru) and that they now sell the Digital Stream (which does). Is this true or is he just trying to get a sale (they are out of the Zenith). Thank you in advance for helpful answers (based on past questions.) Oh, also, my coupon expires tomorrow.

Hey there! The Zenith DTT900 does not have APT but the Zenith DTT901 does. Zenith is highly ranked. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the Digital Stream. Some people have no problems with it and others do. Seeing as your coupons may have expired, check out this blog because it tells how to get more than your max 2 coupons if you need them. Also, a great trick to test converter boxes without wasting your coupon is to buy the converter box full price first, test it at home, if you like it return it and re-purchase it using your coupon to get your discount. If you don’t like it, repeat the same thing until you find your best converter box. Hope this helps!
